Name: Simpel Session When: 2- 3 august, 2002 Place: Simpel Skatepark, Tartu, Estonia It’s happening again and this year’s event is already third in a row - Estonian biggest freestyle festival. Like last year we cover the disciplines of skateboarding park and vert. Also some demo-riding is going to happen. The BMX and inline comps are held as well. There will be the best Estonian as well as international riders. The riders include: Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany and others. Included riders/boarders like Jussi Korhonen, BMX riders Jonas and Mikael Malmberg, flatlanders Martti Kuoppa and Kimmo Haakana… to name a few. Last year there was almost 120 participants. The skatepark is 3000 squaremeters large and it has a vert ramp, about 2600 m2 large street course and miniramp. The skatepark will be redesigned and new constructions will be built for the event time (cornerpipe, pyramid, roll-in, big ditch, new slidebox, hip quaterpipe etc.) The stage will be set up next to the skatepark and DJs are gonna play all day long. In the first evening we will put together a gig with great Estonian and Latvian (Feik) live bands and hip-hop/garage artists. The event will end with a official afterparty at a club on saturday night. There's gonna play best Estonian DJs, videos on big screens, drinks, nice ladies and things like that.
